Do I send my facilities-related request to UTD Facilities Management or JSOM Technology and Facilities Services?
Send all facilities-related requests via email to our offices. If necessary, a building coordinator will direct you to the next step in the process.
How should I submit my event details for an event held within JSOM?
Email your event details along with detailed bullet points of what you will need for the event. Note, JSOM Technology and Facilities Services handle a wide range of event setups throughout JSOM. Unfortunately, at this time, our staff does not fulfill requests across campus.
Can I submit my event request to JSOM Technology and Facilities the day of my event?
For JSOM Technology and Facilities Services to consider handling your request, we ask for a minimum of two business days’ notice. Should your request be submitted last minute, further directions will be sent directing you to Facilities Management for handling.
How do I reserve a room within the Naveen Jindal School of Management?
Find more information on the Room Reservations page. JSOM Technology and Facilities Services do not facilitate room reservations on behalf of Faculty, Staff or Students.
What is the process for requesting changes within my office?
Email your request along with details to JSOM Technology and Facilities Services. Upon receipt of your request, a building coordinator will respond.
Can I adjust the temperature in my office?
Email details to JSOM Technology and Facilities Services so that we may forward the request to Emergency Management Services for attention. Facilities Management manages temperature control globally.
Can I hang pictures in my office?
You are free to hang pictures, signs and more. inside your office. However, if you would like assistance, email our office to request support.
What do I do if I have bugs in my office?
Email details to JSOM Technology and Facilities Services so that we may forward the request to our pest control vendor for attention. Please note, pest control is on-site each Friday to handle these requests.
How do I request that my office be cleaned?
Email details to JSOM Technology and Facilities Services so that we may forward the request. Please note, Facilities Management handles general cleaning duties, while our nightly custodial vendor handles offices
