How the Process Works
Responsible Parties
- Content Owner (you) – responsible for budget, campaign dates, benefits and features of what you are promoting, content, etc.
- JSOM Marketing – responsible for putting your content into the right marketing message and providing ad designs.
- JSOM Social Media – responsible for creating the campaign (Facebook, Google, Linkedin or Instagram), and may also assist with JSOM Marketing duties. Also provides analytics from the social media platforms used.
- JSOM Digital Services and Analytics – responsible for creating landing pages and tracking URLs, as well as providing analytics from Google.
Process
- Content Owner determines goals of the campaign, campaign dates, funding for campaign, and basic audience targeting information. Consider the following:
- Age
- Geography
- Education level
- Degree
- Interests
- Any other dimensions that will narrow the ad’s focus
Once the Content Owner has this information, fill out the digital marketing questionnaire which initiates the process for JSOM Digital Services and Analytics, Marketing and Social Media. Content Owner will receive an automated response when the questionnaire has been received. - Once the questionnaire is successfully submitted, JSOM Digital Services and Analytics, Marketing and Social Media meet to customize a marketing plan to fit Content Owner goals.
- JSOM Digital Services and Analytics , Marketing and Social Media will reach out and review the plan with the Content Owner. This is the Content Owner’s chance to give feedback and talk through any changes before the campaign goes live.
- From this meeting, a formalized plan is created and JSOM Social Media will implement.
- Content Owner will be notified by JSOM Social Media once the campaign goes live.
- JSOM Digital Services and Analytics , Marketing and Social Media will provide regular reporting to the Content Owner showing the campaigns efficacy and if necessary, make suggestions on tactical changes.
