Add Art or Other Design Elements to Your Webpages

Both the External Affairs staff and/or the Digital Services and Analytics team will determine if any art created outside of UT Dallas meet the UTD content and branding standards before it can be added to your webpages.

Vet any:

  • artwork (including animations, graphics and photos of fine art)
  • audio
  • endorsement
  • film
  • logo
  • photo, or
  • video

Please send an email to Elizabeth Gonzales and “cc,” Madi Franquiz with the email subject line: Art for Webpages Approval

If the external affairs staff or Digital Services and Analytics team authorizes the use of such material, the webpage owner assumes responsibility for:

  • authenticating it — by determining who created it and who owns it or controls its copyright —
  • seeking appropriate written permissions to use it.

Some companies, such as those offering logos in conjunction with rankings, charge fees. Discuss fees IN ADVANCE OF USE with the external affairs and/or Digital Services and Analytics team. Many graphics, photos and other images are available to use for free. Check with the external affairs staff and Digital Services and Analytics team to ensure that any you find are both eligible for free use and meet branding standards. Both teams can help you locate suitable images.
