Request for Information Form

You may have noticed the Request for Information form at jindal.utdallas.edu. That is a Salesforce form! When a prospect submits their information into this form, they are sent a response from the department within 1-2 hours. This first line of marketing is a response that can be customized at any time.

For assistance, submit a ticket.

Would you like to know who has filled out the Request for Information form for your program? Hop over to Reports to find out how.

Ask a Question Form

The Ask a Question form link is a button on your website.

  • This form lists options for graduate and undergraduate programs, but not executive education.
  • You do not need a Salesforce login to receive questions from prospects.

What does the button/link look like?

When the prospective student fills out this form, their information feeds into Salesforce and their question is routed to a certain department depending on what the question is. For example, program directors should not be getting questions related to student visa issues; these are instead routed to the ISSO.

Sample Question Routed to Your Mailbox

If you receive a student question, do not “reply” to the automatically-generated “receipt” email! Instead, draft a new email to address the student’s question.

If you “reply” to the email, the response will go to an unmonitored mailbox, not to the person asking the question. Make sure not to “reply” to the email.

If you are receiving email types that you do not feel are accurately addressed by your department (routing adjustments, etc…), please submit a ticket or contact the CRM Developer.
