VPN

Introduction

PaloAlto GlobalProtect VPN allows users to remotely connect to the campus network in order to access on-premise resources. You must have VPN set up to ensure that you can access JSOM Intranet, our custom Jindal School dashboard that allows you to stay up to date on items or applications that have been designed and developed to help you with academic activities including TA evaluations, etc.

If you need to log in to JSOM Intranet off-campus, you must use VPN to access the secure UT Dallas servers. Please follow the steps below to set up your VPN access.

Setting up VPN

1. Visit the UT Dallas VPN page.
2. Click the link for “Enroll in NetIDplus.” You will download the Duo mobile app to your phone, which you will need to VPN sign in.
3. Click the appropriate link for “Install PaloAlto GlobalProtect VPN” to download the VPN software to your computer.
4. Click the appropriate link under “Connect to the new VPN system:” and follow instructions for accessing the VPN network.
